The ranking data that we will present to you come from the "Global Competitiveness Report presented at the World Economic Forum for 2019", where 141 countries were evaluated, and the topics were different

The survey was attended by 12,987 managers from various industries who answered 78 questions, among which was the quality of road infrastructure in their countries.

They were asked to rate that quality from 1 (poor) to 7 (very good)

The results of the survey are a chart that gives a broad picture of the quality of roads in Europe, and in it we can clearly see the division between east and west.

Many Soviet states and those from Eastern Europe are below grade 4. In the western part of Europe, most countries reach grade 4 or 5.

But it is the Netherlands that has the best roads in Europe (with a score of 6.4), followed by Switzerland (with 6.3).

These two countries in the global ranking are positioned in 2nd and 3rd place, where before them is Singapore as the country with the best roads in the world.
